These past few months seem to be a season of nostalgia for the three stripes and I’m not mad it. Who doesn’t love a good vintage silhouette? Adidas Originals has been digging in the archives for inspiration and producing some super dope kicks. One of these retro kicks that caught my eye was the Adidas Ultra Tech. This sporty sneaker was originally released in 1991 with a brief comeback in 2013. Now, the shoe has been rereleased in a fresh new colorway.

If you’re not into the chunky sneakers, this Ultra Tech is definitely a solid substitute. You get all of those retro dad shoe vibes without the super bulkiness. The colorway that caught my attention was this “crystal white/shock pink/core black.” The suede and mesh upper of this shoe arrive in shades of white and black while the iconic three stripes pop in hot pink and purple. The midsole delivers another contrasting pop of color with a purple insert that wraps around the sides. Netting on the midsole gives the shoe an extra touch of texture that makes these shoes feel extra retro. Finishing details are the hot pink lace eyelets and what looks like a purple French terry lining.

This retro sneaker is straight out of the 90s and is giving me all kinds of nostalgia. If you’re feeling these sporty kicks, you can SHOP THE SNEAKS below for $120 USD.
