Brands are always pretty strategic in how they release kicks to consumers. Lately, Jordan Brand has been droppin' quite a few silhouettes exclusive to grade school sizing. Maybe this is a nod to more inclusion of the small feet tribe, or it's right on time for back to school.
Next week, we can expect to see another Jordan GS (grade school) drop with the Retro 5 release in a 'Deadly Pink' colorway. This pair has a black nubuck upper that includes everywhere from the eyelets to the mesh paneling. To make the sneaker pop, Jordan Brand has added a white midsole with the hot pink accents to the shark teeth and inner tongue lining all sitting on top of a blue translucent outsole.
What do you all think of this iteration? Does the bright pink add a nice touch, or do you feel this is just quick sub-par quality GS release? These are expected to hit shelves on August 5th for $140 USD.
