Back in late September, we got word that Nike Sportswear was transforming the Air Max Goadome into a women's sneakerboot. For me, the Goadome has always been a shoe reminiscent of winter breaks in NYC. Step one foot into any subway in the city back then and you'd see a pair of these bad boys on a woman who could probably beat you to a pulp. Street stompers, basically. So, before I got my cosign on, I had to see this revamped version on foot and, thanks to NSW design goddess @RoxyMiami, let's just say I kinda sorta wish it would snow in Texas.
Right in time for Holiday 2017 and colder weather in general, NSW offers an ACG release that boasts full-grain, water-resistant leather construction, which is perfect for those of you who see rain, sleet, and snow between the months of November and March. Adjustable straps that criss-cross the upper and metal eyelets give the boot both a sturdy on-foot feel and conjure all sorts of "Rhymthm Nation" images a la Janet Jackson's 1814.
