One week, y'all.

One week, y'all.

Back in 2014, Rihanna was named as a Creative Director for Puma. It was said that she would help in conceptualization for Puma's ladies collections. Since the official announcement, Puma has had a massive increase in sales and the brand has found more allegiance from people around the globe. This year we got a direct taste of what RiRi looks like as a designer. With the Puma X Fenty collection, Miss Fenty released a monochromatic street-meets-leisurewear line that is designed to make ladies feel sexy. Shocking, right?

While we aren't fond of the price point of her first official Puma Collection, anyone who chooses to shell out for a piece will find that much of it could act as a staple in your closet for multiple seasons.

That said, as we continue our 12 Days of Kicksmas, we thought it imperitive to highlight RiRi's contribution to sneakher style AND Pumas new influence on the world. Here are 7 of our favorite moments from the goddess herself.

7) Rising Sun Laced Sweatshirt

Crops are a constant throughout the Fenty line. This sweatshirt would be great to pair with any high-wasted baggy jeans or a pair of leggings. The Japanese influence is stated on the back of the sweatshirt with the rising sun that you find on the Japanese flag. Not to mention the thickness of the material makes this wearabale all through winter.

6) Long Oversized Bomber Jacket

This is the priciest piece on this list. However, with bomber jackets being crazy on trend this season it’s a hard piece to ignore. Also, with its length it allows for more formal wear. This piece is exemplary of Ri bringing style and street in one.

5) Super Long Sleeve Crewneck Top

This take on the classic raglan tee has us vibin. Cropped, you rock this in the spring and turn mad heads. The kimono sleeves have that Japanese influence coming in again, and is something we’ve never seen before.

4) Cold Shoulder Crop Top

Another crop, but the name doesn't do it justice. Throw this bad boy on and you’ll have no one giving you the cold shoulder. A great pick for date night, a night out with the girls, or even could be worn with high wasted (very high) dress pants under a blazer for a meeting at the office. Hands down one of the most versatile pieces from the collection.

3) Lacing Tights

Lacing in tops has become a huge trend this fall. Now, thanks to Fenty we have some on the bottom. Lacing up the entirety of the leg it’s safe to say that these aren’t for the faint of heart. If you’re trying to be comfortable but spill out the sex appeal, these belong to you. Not to mention they’d be super easy to rock with a great pair of kicks.

2) Oversized Fleece Trousers

A lot of the commentary on this line has claimed that there has been a 90’s influence but these pants are screaming 70’s. The fleece aspect lays the way for a great winter wear pick and ads enough texture that you’d be able to get away with rocking a cotton tee on top. A statement piece no doubt.

1) Creepers

Saving the best for last, and of course our favorite. The Creeper. This sneaker has launched Puma to another level and we love that it was developed by badgirl herself. Granted you’re not able to buy any right now, but we’re hoping they drop some more soon. It’s offered in a few different materials but the platform base is what really sets this guy apart. It’s a simple sneaker that leaves an impression and is incredibly versatile.

We’re looking forward to what else Ri has in store for us. We all know she makes hit records and now she’s climbing the latter in design world. The creeper was her first solo claim to fame in the sneaker world and it’s been a massive hit.
