Every week, 'Fit Chicks' will highlight attire, tips, and (of course!) sneakers that make it perfect for you to get your sweat on in style. We’ll also hip you to some of our favorite weekend hang sessions and interactions with like-minded ladies because, we love showing love!
Ahhhh, December. After diving into this month o' joy with our December Boss Chick last week, we're opting for a bit more giving this week. The holiday season is finally upon us and as we started to plot, plan, and struggle to figure out what to get the gals in our lives, Brit and I thought we'd try to make your lives (and ours, duh!) a bit easier by compiling a list of things WE love FOR HER. If you're looking for the perfect gift to give to your BFF, sister, mother, friends or any fitness enthusiast with a knack for sweating it out, you’ve come to the right place! There’s a bunch of great holiday 2016 offerings for those that love the motivation that comes along with a great buy.
Take a look below for your friends, family, and maybe even for yourself. You never know - Santa might come early. :)
For Her Convenience
Herschel Packable Duffle - $29.00 USD
What's worse that coming to the gym unprepared? Packing everything you own in your work bag, that's what. We've all been there, right? Luckily, about a year ago when I was searching for a carry-on perfect for short trips, I stumbled upon the Herschel Packable Duffle. It's lightweight ripstop material collapses into its own internal pocket for easy storage while the bag itself holds quite a bit for it's size. And, at just $30 bucks, it's definitely something that would be perfect for your favorite gym-going gal.
For Her Beasty Workout
Powerbeats3 Wireless Headphones -$200 USD
I have an occaisional desire to run. Seeing as though running isn't my absolute favorite way to sweat, I need some motivation when I opt to pound the pavement so, for me, music is an essential factor in getting shit done. Those results fall short quite a bit when I'm constantly spending more time adjusting my ear buds. I totally used to use the factory joints that came with my phone and, let's just say, FAIL. That all changed when I was gifted with a pair of Powerbeats3 Wireless Headphones back in November.
The water-resistant Powerbeats3 Wireless earphones are ready for any challenge with up to 12 hours of battery life to fuel long, tough workouts and powerful, dynamic sound to keep you pushing. Basically, perfect for your favorite Fit Chick.
For Her Leisure
Puma Evo Drapy Zip Up Hoodie - $50 USD
Around these parts we're definitely into functional gear, but we're also very keen on workout attire that is also fashionable. For the fashion-minded and comfort-minded alike, this Puma Evo Drapy zip-up offers the best of both worlds. The relaxed fit and contrast paneling give it a luxurious look. And the slight added stretch in the fabric makes for ease of movement when you really get going.
Plus, Puma always holds it down with the good deals. This hoodie is now on sale for $50 USD. Feeling it? Click the link below to shop.
For Her GAINS
Vital Proteins Collagen Whey, Vanilla Coconut 20oz Powder - $59.00
In an effort to "Health Up The Holidays" Brit decided to get down to the nitty gritty and challenge herself (and you) to increase energy and overall health with Vital Proteins.
For the girl on-the-go it's essential to stay healthy and with their advanced protein utilization formula, Vital Proteins packs a solid punch with Collagen peptides and whey protein for a balanced amino acid profile. All that sound like gibber jabber? Here's the basics: it's hella good for your gains.
For Her Feet
Nike Air Presto Mid Utility - $190 USD
Don't let cold weather keep you from working up a sweat outdoors, y'all. Whether she's on a weekend run or just running errands in rainy weather, the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility Women's Shoe features a stretchy, sock-like upper, warm lining, water-repellent finish and ground-gripping traction to help her face the elements.
I just actually got a pair of these babies and I'm super excited to try them out. I did do a bit of a test in the tub last night (because Brit and I both refuse to champion products we haven't tried ourselves) and, guess what? These definitely can stand the rain. Boom.
For Her Core
Build Your Own Bosu - $150 USD
Back in November, Britt had the opportunity to build her own Bosu Ball and she totally loved it! Not only is the Bosu Ball an amazing workout tool, it's a core game changer so, if her core is an area she's eager to work on this Build Your Own option might be the wave for a Merry Christmas.
If she (or you) aren't familiar with the workings of a Bosu, it's all good! Each ball comes with a how-to pamphlet that provides visuals of different exercises you can try to target different areas. Also, there is a DVD you receive with your purchase that will help take your experience to another level. Wanna Bosu up? Click below.
That does it for our 2016 gift guide! Anything we missed? Anything you recommend? Let us know in the comments below! We both hope you all have a very happy holiday!
