Forbes continues to shine a light on female empowerment and overall badassness by presenting its annual list of the most powerful women in the world.
According to Forbes (which, is pretty legit, mind you); “They are the smartest and toughest female business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, philanthropists and CEOs making their mark in the world today,” explains the magazine, whose top 10 includes women who are ruling in roles traditionally dominated by their male counterparts. German Chancellor Angela Merkel tops the list with Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton coming in second. Fashion's ruling Queen Anna Wintour lands at No. 28, just below media mogul Oprah Winfrey at No. 21. But, both of of those powerful ladies trail our First Lady - Michelle Obama - who landed a spot at 13.
