I think it's pretty safe to say that Kendall is edging out Khloe as our favorite Kardashian/Jenner sister. She's lowkey and seems to enjoy her solitude as much as we do. Plus, her sneaker style game is definitely A1.

It's hard to believe that America has seen her grow up, literally since she was 11 years old making her debut on her family's reality show.  Though she's a member of one of the most famous families in the world, the 20-year-old model always seems to be the anomaly. She always seemed to want to separate herself from the glitz that is K/J life and yes, it's worked. Kendall's modeling career soared after she stepped on the runway at 14 and now she's proving that she's one of fashion's newest darlings, landing a cover (including full spread and cover story) in Vogue's iconic September issue.

Inside, the style is endless as Kendall wears the best of fall fashion and shows off those 6-year-deep modeling chops. Vetements, Hood By Air, Maison Margiela, Loewe, Valentino and more splay the pages, but it's her acknowledgement of her “super different" demeanor from her famous sisters that strikes the chord.  See quotes and more snaps below.

On the difference between her and her sisters:

They’ve always been into the glam thing and dressing up every day and being in the thick of it. Part of me loves that, but at the same time, I love dressing down and having my private life. It’s almost, like, empowering to know that no one knows we’re sitting here right now—because it’s not usually like this.

On her need to escape:

Every day, I have to find a way to escape; I have to go borrow someone else’s car. Sometimes it takes me an hour to figure out how to get rid of these guys who have been following me all day. And the second that I feel it getting the better of me, I have to go chill myself out—go take a bath or something to, like, disconnect from it. It keeps you real and sane and humble.

On learning from the mistakes:

Obviously, my success came after my sisters’ — I got to see all of their mistakes and watch out for them. My sisters are so fucking strong, and they taught me and my little sister to just toughen up and not let it affect us. You know what’s real.
