Almost a year ago to date, CNK wrote about the #ForceisFemale campaign and highlighted a signature shoe from the collection - the Special Force Air Force 1 silhouette. The campaign was meant to symbolize strength and encourage women to pave their own way and continue to push the culture forward by shaping it in their own ways. An ode to powerful females, and 2017 has proven to be a year of lifting voices in the ladies' department as well as more sneaker drops.

In 2017 the Nike SF AF-1 saw a variety of materials (like patent leather) and colorways. The latest SF AF-1 is dipped in a 'Vintage Wine' hue and rocks the signature ballistic nylon upper, but features suede materials. The military-inspired aesthetic stands strong, and includes a Force is Female strap around the ankle along with additional branding on the heel tab. The look comes together on a rubber midsole.
