These Nike Slides Have a Built-In Fanny Pack

During the summer, you can usually find us poolside with a good book and pair of Benassi slides. They are, for all intents and purposes, a definitive summer staple but, it seems even Nike found a way to take the simplicity of the Benassi and give it some innovation.

While we told you mini backpacks and waist bags would be a thing this season, Nike's making life easier by allowing your SLIDES to carry some of your small needs with its upcoming "Fanny Pack" Benassi JDI slide. Just as the name suggests, these sandals double as fanny packs thanks to the zippered pouch affixed to their strap.

With festival season and other outdoor events in full effect, these slides could prove to be one of the season's best investments. Look for them to drop in gray/black, black/pink, and green/blue color combinations. Check out the options in the slider below.

The Nike Benassi JDI "Fanny Pack" will retail for $45 USD and is set for release on June 1 via the SNKRS app, Nike.com, and select Swoosh retailers.
