We are going to preface this with two words: DONT. SLEEP. Remember when we first shared the futuristic take on one of Nike's latest silhouettes - the React Element 87. To be quite honest, the internet went crazy for this pair. From sneaker lover's leveling up their sock game rockin' these kicks to comments full of flame emojis... the Element 87 was pure heat. Unfortunately, I took a big L on these when they first released but luckily we all get a second chance to cop with two new colorways on the horizon.

The Nike React Element 87 is intriguing. It could be the because this sneaker shows the React technology in it's first form which was meant for casual wear. But the shoe also has layers. Layers of design, innovation, and materials. The mere fact that with the translucent textile upper, you can create all new looks and a seemingly brand new shoe just by the socks you wear is cool AF. The Nike React Element 87 has a strong concentration on performance and represents what technology can accomplish by truly understanding our feet, especially those movers and shakers. The sneaker is reminiscent of Virgil's deconstructed wave with Off-White, and you know we are loving his work.

The first colorway features a 'desert sand/smokey mauve upper' with accents of black and volt in the midsole. The second sneaker is dressed in a more 'pure platinum/black' upper with red detailing and bright blue in the midsole. These are showstoppers to say the least.
