Sneaker lovers all over the world can’t argue that Jumpman silhouettes 1-14 are particularly dope. Is it because we were drawn to the earlier sneakers in the Jordan family tree - we were connected through childhood? While many of us were, we also won’t deny that Jordan and Tinker Hatfield created masterpieces that pushed the boundaries of sneaker aesthetics. The Air Jordan V is in that list of OG classics that we love. Like most pairs, we scrolled across a new look in the retro.
The Air Jordan V ‘Island Green’ takes on a clean white leather upper with accents of a refreshing cool mint tone. The ‘Island Green’ colorway hits the eyelets, side panels, tongue and icy outsole. Black detailing sets off the white exterior while the signature shark teeth take on a splatter paint pattern. One of our favorite details to this AJ5 is the subtle leopard print on the upper. WIth 3M in the mix, you can make a statement in the night time when the leopard accents come alive.
