4 Nike By You x Cultivator Designers You Want To Know

There is so much around us everyday that inspires us. You know - people, places, and things. These experiences are the building blocks for what connects us in and out of the sneaker community. Everyone has a unique story to tell and Nike By You x Cultivator gets this by giving individuals the opportunity to share through creative sneaker designs. Who wouldn’t want to design a Swoosh silhouette that is made with love and layers of important messages?
Earlier this year, we highlighted some dope women who were exclusively designing with Nike By You x Cultivator. From bold colorways to mental health awareness, each shoe was uniquely important in it’s own right. This go-round, we are highlighting four hard-working creatives that not only love kicks but are grateful for their personal journeys and people in them that have paved the way to present day accomplishments. Kimmiski Art

1. MEET KIMMISKI ART
Straight out of H-town, Texas - Kimmiski works as an art teacher by day and motivates her students daily through artistic messages aligning with her mantra ‘NEVER FOLD’. Grateful for her creative gift of art, Kimmiski designed a classic Nike Air Max 1 as an ode to never losing sight of her blessing - even as an adult. 2. MEET YOUNG RAY
Our girl Ray is not only a Brandpreneur, but an advocate the community in which she was raised. Choosing a classic like the Nike Air Max 1, Ray designed her shoe as tribute to all roses that grow from the concrete. 3. MEET LESLIE GOMEZ
You may know Leslie as Designer/Founder of TrynaB Studios in Georgia. Aside from taking the leap into entrepreneurship, Leslie is all about female unity and empowerment. Her Nike React Element 55 is rooted in the message “HELP HER”, meant to symbolize the power of female support and our voices collectively. 4. MEET MARKY
Marky (AKA @WhosMarky on IG) resides in Phoenix where there is a rich melting pot of Hispanic heritage. Even while designing sneakers, Marky’s Nike Air Max 1 design pays tribute to everything that made him into the person he is today. One very special component of his “POR LA FAMILIA” shoe design is the ode to the women who raised him.
