Adidas Consortium has been committed to bringing unique and fearless collaborations, but the brands latest release was an in-house made homage to the past. The ZX series from the Three Stripes originally ran from 1984 to 1989, ending with the ZX 9000. Now, the ZX 10000C is here to complete the collection. First releasing in partnership with Berlin-based retailer, Overkill, the sneaker just got a wide release. Designed with help from the original ZX designer, Jacques Chassaing, this sneaker is ready for SS19.

The original ZX series was all about high performance functionality, especially with the Torsion system. This newest silhouette keeps with that tradition in a nostalgic color palette of aqua blue, orange, tan and grey. The sneaker features a mesh based upper with suede overlays. Black mesh netting is wrapped on the sides and covered by a white TPU heel counter. The sneaker sits atop a tan midsole and black outsole. Finished with tonal laces and minimal branding, these sneakers are such a retro vibe. Take a look at the Adidas Consortium ZX 10000C below!

It’s so cool that Adidas chose to finish the ZX series for all those collectors out there. The sneakers are a true vision from the past. Are these a cop a can? If you’re feeling the nostalgia, you can SHOP THE SNEAKS below for $160 USD.
