Reebok by Pyer Moss Experiment 3 “Pink” Is a Must-Cop
If you're familiar with us, you know that Pyer Moss' Fall/Winter 2018 collection with Reebok was one of our favorites last year and one that was irrevocably tied to the culture. Now, the Reebok by Pyer Moss Experiment 3 “Pink” will be hitting shelves soon soon (as in, this week) following recent announcements on the brand’s Instagram account.
Leading the charge? Designer Kerby Jean-Raymond's limited-edition Experiment 3 high-top sneaker in a Summer-ready pink which, if we're honest, is quite reminiscent of another pink high top we saw drop earlier this year. The offering sits atop a sculpted black and gum Hexalite hexagonal-cushioned sole unit and features tonal flame-effect rubber overlays, a co-branded asymmetrical side-zip and velcro fastening and is finished off with collaborative branding around the ankle-high opening. And, if you were born before 1989, these will probably look familiar as The Experiment 3 took ample design cues from Reebok’s 1990s basketball opus, the Mobius.
The Experiment 3 "Pink" will drop on May 18 at 10 AM EST and retail for $250 USD at PyerMoss.com and Reebok.com, as well as select global retailers. Take a look at the duo’s collaborative editorial series “Imma Ball Anyway,” this time featuring Brooklyn Youth Sports Club Director, Damon Lawrence.
