The '96 'Ivory Snake' Nike Air Force 1 Returns
If you've kept your eyes on the sneaker streets, you'll know that bold patterns are making a summer comeback. By patterns, we mean snakeskin, like the recent Air Jordan 11 Lows. While we know the Air Force 1 continues to be a timeless silhouette through the decades, it can be necessary to pull from the archives and make a statement in present day.
The reptile-inspired sneaker first appeared in 1996, and is making a long awaited comeback. What we can appreciate is when a retro mirrors the OG detailing, and the Nike Air Force 1 '96 "Ivory Snake" is back. The sneaker is constructed with a white leather upper and snakeskin Swoosh that wraps around to the heel counter with a black Nike Air tongue tag. The crisp pair is also said to have a matching set of tube socks, because coordinates matter.
Will you be ready to grab this release that's back after 23 years? I'm sure this pair of sneakers won't sit for long. The Nike Air Force 1 "Ivory Snake" releases on 5/22 for $150 USD. You can SHOP THE SNEAKS below on release day. Cop or Can?
