Cop or Can: Balenciaga Releases New Trainer 'Track 2'

We’re all familiar with Balenciaga hopping on the chunky sneakHER trend and their first debut with the sock-like fitted trainer. The brand came back and gave us a new shoe to think about called the Track 2. It comes in three different colorways, a white, red and blue color-block, an all-white hue and all-black.

It’s hard not to appreciate the artistry behind it- the upper is made up of 176 separate pieces! The exposed mesh base is covered in layers of synthetic and leather overlays. We can peep the exclusive branding of Track 2 on the tongue of the shoe with Balenciaga making it’s appearance on the side. This shoe definintely gives off dad sneak vibes, with it’s bulky multi-layered appearance but as we know, the futuristic style is what we are channeling in streetwear nowadays.
