Cop or Can: Vans x Opening Ceremony Give the Old Skool a Satin Finish

Switching it up just a little bit- what do we think about the new look for the Old Skool Vans? The recent collaboration with Opening Ceremony gave the original shoes a new satin look versus the signature canvas construction. They dubbed this drop as the “Satin Pack”.
Vans holds a special place in my heart! Never did I skateboard but I’ve always loved the practicality of the shoe and it’s lifestyle feel. However, my mom did feel a certain type of way when I’d try to somehow make these my church and party shoes ALL the time. Where were these “dressier” options when I was a kid??
The new style comes in three different colorways: “Burnt Orange/Emerald”, “Aqua Sky/Silver”, and “Pale Mauve/Burnt Coral”. A different style for just about anybody! My personal favorites being the Mauve Pink, I love a good muted shoe and anything pink. The Aqua Silver has its very own character, in which we can appreciate the blue drip with the nice grey that adds to the icy look.
