Wish List: Chinatown Market x Converse Set to Release a UV Activated Shoe

ComplexCon is right around the corner for Chicago and it's safe to say we can prepare for some insane sneaker drops. Let's just take a look at what Chinatown Market has in store with their latest Converse collab... the concept is a UV activated shoe.

I was a little stuck when I watched the video on Chinatown's Instagram page for the first time. The release comes in the model Chuck 70 Hi and Chuck 70 OX. The collab consists of a mismatched colorway that transitions when in direct sunlight. The colors in the shoe include purple, orange and blue.

These shoes are so fun and for sure a statement summer shoe! The triple toned shoe can be paired with a neutral outfit, while the muted version can be thrown on with just about anything.

The release hits on July 20th with limited amounts online Chinatown Market's website and at ComplexCon Chicago. The hightops will retail at $100 and lowtops at $95 USD.
