The Asics Gel Lyte III G-TX comes equipped for the outdoor elements and features a slightly different construction from the usual Gel Lyte III that readies the retro runner for cold weather conditions. A GORE-TEX™ upper helps repel water and marks the first time that the technical fabric has been used on the classic runner. The traditional split-tongue gets an added zipper that complements the shoe’s overall utilitarian design. Although the upper is mostly black and graphite grey, the Gel Lyte III G-TX has vibrant pops of color that appear on the laces, eyelets, and outsole.
