It’s always inspiring to see women doing the work to instill much needed change surrounding female representation within the sneaker community. For Rio Holland and Beth Heggarty, a lack of women-dedicated spaces that had a sneaker specific focus led them to open Pam Pam, the first sneaker store in the UK to specialize in a women's-only selection of premium sneakers. 5 years later their latest collaborative drop with Adidas is pushing the importance of individual style and the inclusion of women from all walks of life within our community.
The Adidas x Pam Pam ZX 1000 starts with a a mainly white mesh and black suede upper with a pop of trace pink on the three-stripe logo and heel tab. However, the shoes fairly toned down color palette is interrupted by a standout fabric choice on the upper that comes in the form of leopard-print pony hair panels on the sides. Pam Pam branded laces and tongue labels finishes off the sneakHER while a gold hangtag shaped like an Adidas shoe adds the finishing luxe touch. Check out the snaps below for a closer look.
