Nike x UNDEFEATED Air Max 97 | First Look

Back in 2017, the Air Max 97 was celebrating its 20th birthday. A collaboration with LA-based streetwear brand UNDEFEATED emerged as part of the celebration. The two brands joined forces to bring us two Air Max 97’s that the internet went wild over. Now, 3 years later, the duo is back at it again to give us a couple more options to add to our Air Max arsenal.
The Nike x UNDEFEATED Air Max 97 is coming in another black iteration and a newly unveiled militia green colorway. The militia green and orange colorway takes inspiration from the brands familiar flight jacket theme and applies it to footwear. While the black colorway is nothing new, it hasn’t been done like this. The black upper is interrupted by volt green piping all around and accompanying militia green piping and branding. Both options include similar UNDEFEATED branding that goes around the shoe’s entirety that was first seen applied to the 2017. Reflective detailing finishes off this sneaker to make sure it shines day or night.
WHEN IS THE NIKE X UNDEFEATED AIR MAX 97 DROPPING?
The Nike x UNDEFEATED Air Max 97 in both ‘Militia Green’ and ‘Black/Volt’ is rumored to be releasing on 12/29 for $180 USD via the SNKRS App and via UNDEFEATED’s website.
