Wish List: The Converse 2020 Pride Collection
June is Pride Month and even though this years celebrations may be a little more subtle than in years’ past, Converse has shown us that their 2020 Pride Collection is anything but subtle. Converse has always been about unleashing the creative spirit and showcasing your individuality through the power of sneakers. This years Converse Pride Collection, in its 5th year advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights, will be benefiting the It Gets Better Project, Ali Forney Center, BAGLY and OUT MetroWest.
The collection features the Chuck 70 and Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers in color ways inspired by the “More Color, More Pride” flag that was popularized in 2017 by social justice advocate Amber Hikes. The collection also includes customizable styles in both adult and youth sizes. While you’re deciding which kicks to cop, make sure you check out some of their Pride apparel and accessories - bucket hats are a summer staple and Converse did not disappoint.
