Cop or Can: Los Vans Pack
Vans has a way of designing some fire sneakers in a way that reimagines some of their classic silhouettes. Whether that be through their collaborative efforts with luxury brands or through a mashup of different prints and patterns for a shoe that makes a statement, Vans always has a vast array of interesting styles to choose from. Vans’ latest drop pays homage to a Mexican past time that has withstood the test of time.
The Los Vans Pack features notable characters of “Lotería,” a Mexican bingo-style game that many Latino’s can remember playing at more than their fair share of family gatherings. The pack showcases 3 silhouettes: the Old Skool, Slip-On, and Authentic. Each style features an all over print inspired by Lotería with characters such as “La Dama,” “El Alacran,” and “La Rosa” with some modern inclusions such as “Los Waffles,” “Los Munchies,” and “El Checkerboard.” Each style also features black detailing whether that be through panels on the toe box and heel, laces, or piping to balance out the details. Scroll through the snaps below for an in depth look.
If the Los Vans Pack caught your attention you can cop the Old Skool for $65 USD while the Slip-On and Authentic will each run you $60 USD a piece. The Old Skool and Slip-On styles appear to have sold out at most retailers but you can still cop your pairs on Vans.com while the Authentic can be found at online retailers such as Zappos.com.
