Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market Dunk Low | First Look
Cynthia Lu has let her brand, Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM), and stylist work do all of the talking. Even though we would love to know more about the woman behind the magic, we can’t help but notice the straight fire that has come from this brand both on its own and through its collaborations. If you remember the Nike x CPFM VaporMax that released in May of last year, then you may remember how disruptive of a design the sneakHER was. Now, the two have come together once again for an even more eye catching drop.
A teaser of the Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market Dunk Low was revealed to us via Yoon’s IG (she’s always coming through with the sneak peeks) and it immediately caught everyones attention. From what we could see, the collab seems to take a monochrome white Dunk and bedazzles it for a shoe that you’ll want to have for display in your sneakHER closet. It’s hard to discern what catches your attention first, the four-eyed smiley face hang tag or the fact that the shoes entirety seems to be covered in shiny crystals. Peep Yoon’s IG post below for a closer look.
WHEN DOES THE NIKE X CACTUS PLANT FLEA MARKET DUNK LOW RELEASE?
Although an exact release date for the Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market Dunk Low has not been revealed, there are rumors they are set for release sometime during the holidays. Typical Dunk Low’s retail for $100 USD but considering this shoe is completely blinged out, there’s no telling what the price tag will be looking like.
UPDATE: 11/11/2020
We’re finally getting a better look at the Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market Dunk Low and while it loosely borrows the technique of past Swarovski releases, the pair boasts a few unique qualities that align directly with the CPFM ethos. Each jewel is intentionally placed out of alignment, while thickened tongues boast additional padding while detachable double lace flaps cap off a very interesting Dunk.
In addition to the pair, the drop also includes a CPFM smiley dust bag and bejeweled accessory as well as a Swarovski-dressed hoodie. The words “just do it” will arrive printed atop the chest, marked within its lettering with the same crystals found on the Dunk Low.
For now, take a detailed look at the Dunk as well as accessories up top. A release, which is said to be exclusive to cactusplantfleamarket.com (meaning you won’t have a chance to catch this L on SNKRS) will arrive officially on November 18th.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated with any news as it emerges. Until then, you can shop other Nike styles below.
