The sneaker world is in a constant cycle. Styles come back every few years either through retro releases or seen as the underlying inspiration for modern silhouettes. Either way, it is no secret that no one interprets throwback styling better than Boston-based brand New Balance. Here, we’re taking a look at a new 327 iteration that proves that the 327 isn’t going anywhere.

The WMNS New Balance 327 ‘Deep Violet’ was inspired by some of New Balance’s old school runners. The lugged sole takes inspiration from the 355 trail running shoe. The rubber heel wrap, suede and mesh upper in addition to the exaggerated fang design was inspired by 320, 355, and Supercomp. This new colorway features typical 327 detailing such as a flared midsole and waffle outsole that trickles up the heel. Throughout the upper different tones of purple are seen with white side paneling and matching oversized ‘N’ logo. On the tongue, a pop of color is incorporated by way of indigo hued branding.
