Women’s History Month is right around the corner. In preparation for the month of March, sneaker brands are getting ready to drop some heat to honor the strength and resilience of women around the world. The Swoosh is partaking in the celebration and their latest AF1 reveal is just a glimpse of a potentially larger collection that commemorates Women’s History Month.

The Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low ‘Red Plum’ is a colorful suede iteration that draws inspiration from the enduring spirit of Mexican women. Red Plum and Light Arctic Pink suede panels are interrupted by all over violet and orange abstract graphics that depict floral patterns and animals. Upon closer examination, you’ll notice glitter details in the form of tongue branding and on the lace dubraes. White lace stays and a white Swoosh complement the matching rubber midsole. A Red Plum outsole finishes off this sneakHER.

As with many recent Nike drops, a release date is still up in the air. However, due to this shoe commemorating Women’s History Month we can expect a release for next month.
