Air Max Day is fast approaching and we all know what that means: RELEASES, RELEASES, RELEASES. Although it seems Nike releases have become centered around their Dunk silhouette as of late, they’re throwing some interesting Air Max iterations into the mix. Here, we’re taking a look at a collection that’s plant inspired and very spring appropriate. 

The latest round of Air Max drops, dubbed the ‘Cork’ Collection, is a lineup of 4 different different styles that fuses together both cork and embroidered plant detailing. Two Air Max 95’s in ‘Wheat’ and ‘Navy’ as well as two Air Max 90’s in ‘Pink’ and ‘Coconut Milk’ feature an embroidered leafy detail on the tongue to showcase the lineup’s sustainable design elements. The 2 Air Max 95’s feature cork detailing on the sides while the Air Max 90 options apply the cork construction to its Swoosh branding. All 3 styles feature canvas uppers and are finished off with cork outsoles. Check out the images below for a closer look. 

WHEN IS THE NIKE AIR MAX ‘CORK’ COLLECTION DROPPING?

The Nike Air Max ‘Cork’ Collection is the perfect combination of a spring appropriate color palette and meticulous material choices for a shoe that’ll ring in spring season just right. Although there is no set release date for these just yet, we can expect a release later this month as part of the Air Max Day celebrations or during April as springs comes into full effect.
