With that said, we found ourselves rejoicing when adidas x Pharrell Williams released a HU slide with BOOST cushioning. Enough said.
Pharrell is all about intentional design and the latest HU Chancleta is named after the Latin saying for flip flops. Sidenote: I personally remember my paternal grandparents ready to get their Chanclas out when we acted up as kids. The HU Chancletas come in four perfect colorways for summer: Semi Solar Pink, Bright Orange, Black, and Bold Gold. the HU logo is imprinted on the footstrap and the slide is constructed with a polyurethane upper and rubber outsole. One cool feature is that the slides have a footbed design that pays homage to a reflexology chart. These accents highlight key pressure points on your foot that connect to areas of the body - cool AF.

The HU Chancleta slide also pulls inspiration from oceanfront souvenir shops in Virginia, which holds close ties to Pharrell’s childhood home. Together with Pharrell in the design lab was Sara Sabino, an adidas Footwear Designer who played an integral role in bringing his vision to life.
