Nike Air Max 97 “Sisterhood” | Now Available

Nike is paying homage to the women and we’re all here for it. In the most recent years, we’ve seen more women-exclusive releases and the acknowledgement of needing to be more inclusive. The sneaker community has been male-dominate for years, but that does not mean that the women should be excluded from the rooms and conversations. There’s still more work to be done as far as women-exclusive drops and designs, but we see the potential. Nike is coming back with its Sisterhood collection for 2021, and these Air Max 97s are definitely catching our attention.

Dubbed the name “Sisterhood”, these Air Max 97 women-exclusives are hot on our list. This colorway features an array of hues of pink from salmon to darker shades of pink. The salmon color lays on the upper layers, while a darker hot pink shade lines the lace unit and lining. The pink shades are met with creme suedes and mesh to provide a clean look to the silhouette. To celebrate the theme of sisterhood, a marker hangtag with the word “SISTER” accessorizes the pair.

We’re excited to see what else Nike does with their sisterhood theme and celebrating women in the sneaker space overall.
