Nike Blazer Mid Jumbo "Voodoo Doll" | First Look

In the midst of waiting for our favorite silhouettes to be revamped and renewed for Spring 2022, we love when a brand tries something new with a shoe other than just changing the colorway. Adding to the list for this spring is a Nike Blazer Mid Jumbo, but with a unique design, we haven’t quite seen before. The Nike Blazer Mid isn't talked about as much as its original version, the Nike Blazer High. The difference in the Mid is that it features a smoother rubber midsole with a strip of foxing along the base of the upper. This spring, Nike is bringing us a Blazer Mid Jumbo with a mismatched, voodoo doll ensemble exclusively for the sneakHER girls.

The Nike Blazer Mid Jumbo “Voodoo Doll” will be a part of a larger collection as we saw the first look of another Voodoo Doll silhouette in the Blazer Mid ‘77 that hit the web late last year. The pair utilizes a majority of materials such as synthetic leather, canvas, and suede to create a “Frankensteined” look around the upper. The colorway features shades of navy, white and olive green that are shown throughout the Swooshes, stitching, and on each of the lateral sides of the shoe. The spine shows the word “LOVE” with a mix of patterns and colors. Completing the voodoo theme is an actual Nike-shaped voodoo doll that hangs from the buttons placed on the lateral collar and detaches whenever you want to take it off.

We have to say this is definitely one of the most uniquely-themed sneakers that have come across the sneaker web in a long time, but we’re digging the look.
