Sacai x Nike Cortez | First Look

If one thing is for sure it’s that any collaboration put out by the Swoosh is attention-grabbing. One of Nike’s most notable collab’s is with Chotse Abe’s Sacai. Whenever the two link up they bring us silhouettes that stay true to Nike OG styles while throwing is a few exaggerated elements. During Milan Fashion Week last month, we got the first look at an upcoming collaboration between the two brands that was first rumored at the end of last year. Needless to say, we’re excited.

The Sacai x Nike Cortez was unveiled at Milan Fashion Week during the Japanese brand’s FW22 fashion show. The Cortez, a style that was designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, is celebrating 50 years in 2022 and this collab is the perfect way to celebrate. The newest collaborative sneaker has been unveiled in two colorways that are reminiscent of previous Sacai x Nike drops. One option has a white leather upper with light gray detailing and pops of magenta and royal blue. The second option has a more muted vibe with a blue leather base, gray suede overlays, and pops of white. Both options have Sacai’s signature stacked sole design with double Swoosh branding and Zoom Air bubbles on the forefoot. Check out the images below for a closer look.

WHEN IS THE SACAI X NIKE CORTEZ RELEASING?

For the time being, there is no set release date for Sacai x Nike Cortez but we expect a release sometime in the late summer/early fall timeframe. Based on previous releases we anticipate these to have a price tag between $170 to $200 USD. In the meantime, check out our additional Nike picks below.
