Nike Air Force 1 'Dip Dye' | First Look

Image: Sneaker News

We’ve seen all over social media the famous dip dyed Air Force 1’s. DIYers have been taking the classic AF1 and turning them into various colors using traditional fabric dye and even coffee. Needless to say, we’re obsessed. It breathes new life into a silhouette that will always hold a special place in our hearts and it seems that Nike now wants in on the fun.

Introducing the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Dip Dye.’ The upper is made of both canvas and suede that is treated in a spring-appropriate blue hue. However, the mix of textures on the upper is reflected by the various blue tones. The suede on the Swoosh and heel tab appear to grab onto the dye a bit more than the rest of the shoe that appears in a lighter blue tone. The shoe’s baby blue look is interrupted by the white midsole that keeps this shoe looking clean and fresh for the spring season ahead. Check out the images below for a closer look.
