NBA x WNBA x Nike Dunk High EMB "ASW 2022" | First Look

It’s been a few weeks since All-Star Weekend has come and gone, but we couldn’t miss talking about this one-in-a-lifetime collaboration between the NBA, WNBA, and Nike that will be coming to select sneaker outlets sometime this year. And yes, ladies, this one is a women’s exclusive. When you’re going to do a basketball shoe collaboration, why not go all-in? This upcoming Dunk release did just that, and we’re not mad about it.

The NBA x WNBA ASW WMNS Nike Dunk High EMB resembles the one thing we all gather around for during this weekend every year–a basketball. This EMB release forgoes any specific team colorway and goes with an all monochromatic theme. Smooth and pebbled leather takeover the upper, with nods to the basketball with the textured overlays and a bright orange ensemble. The Swoosh alternates between black and white giving the all-orange overly some contrast, while a darker orange covers the tongue and collar. For a special touch, both NBA and WNBA logos are printed on the undersides of the shoe’s tongue labels.

WHEN WILL THE NBA x WNBA NIKE DUNK HIGH “ASW 2022” BE AVAILABLE?

We’re loving the attention to detail, simplicity, and creating an ode to the love of basketball in this collaboration. There hasn’t been any update on when these would be released and the pricing, but we’re hoping for it to be included in the Spring/Summer 2022 release.
