Throughout 2021 going into 2022 we have seen more Dunk releases than ever. Every colorway you can imagine has been released. From leather uppers to soft suede construction, we have seen it all. With so many releases it can start to feel overwhelming. You see a new release pop up on SNKRS and suddenly get this feeling of deja vu - trust us when we say that we’ve gotten the same feeling before. It begs the question: are Dunk releases becoming too much? Are they beginning to oversaturate the market in a way that is taking away from their initial allure? Some of us can remember when Dunks could be found in different discount and even thrift stores. Now, they have become a beast within the sneaker market all of their own.
Whether you’re becoming numb to the Dunk hype or don’t mind their releases that seem to come around like clockwork one thing is for sure: there is something about Dunk’s that keeps us all coming back for more. Whenever we see a new iteration in the works, we can’t help but to keep it on our radar and patiently wait for a release. Maybe it’s the shoe’s simple construction that seems to look good on everyone and fit into anyone’s wardrobe or us trying to avoid F.O.M.O. if we don’t get our hands on the latest pair. Regardless of how you feel about Dunk’s we’re sure you’re interested to see some of the Dunk iterations you can expect this Spring and Summer and we’re showing you 17 styles you can expect.
Note: While most of these have no release date just yet, we’ll be updating this post as release dates and price points emerge. With all the supply chain issues of late it may be a few months before we see some of these hit the e-shelves but we’ll keep our eyes open and keep you posted.
