The Union LA x Air Jordan 2 "Future Is Now" Collection Drops Tomorrow
Last November, we caught a whiff of a wintry collaboration between Jordan and Union LA. Official photos of the “Grey Fog” Union LA x Air Jordan 2 caught our eye, earning a ‘first look’ writeup on the site. Months passed, and now that spring is in full swing, the drop of those eye-catching icy high tops is finally upon us.
In addition to “Grey Fog”, the Union LA x AJ2 comes in a warm beige and cream “Rattan” color scheme. Utilitarian details including stamped production ankle patches and a thick rubber bottom sole give these high tops a tough, ‘built to last’ work boot vibe. Perforated suede adds a layer of texture while bright yellow, blue, and red accents add a pop of color against the otherwise muted palettes. Aged laces add a vintage, worn-in look to the pairs.
The full “Future is Now” collection will include a “Grey Fog” Crater Slide as well as a full wardrobe of matching apparel. Both the cozy “Rattan” and chilly “Grey Fog” color schemes are carried throughout the entire collection, seen in short sleeve tees, sweatsuits, jackets, and caps.

Where can I get the Union La x Air Jordan 2 “Future is Now” collection?
A lucky few Los Angeles residents got a chance to snag a pair last weekend at Union LA’s La Brea store. The entire Union LA x Air Jordan 2 collection drops tomorrow, April 15, on the Union LA site. Both the “Grey Fog” and “Rattan” iterations of the AJ2 are priced at $225 USD. A third chance to grab a pair will come on April 22, when the kicks go live on the Nike SNKRS app.
