Converse x Stüssy Chuck 70 'Surfman' | Release Info
Converse and Stüssy are no stranger to one another when it comes to collaborating. This isn’t their first time around the block and we honestly doubt it will be their last. A few months back, we got our first look at the black and white Converse x Stüssy Chuck 70, but there was no word yet on a release date. What we also didn’t know at the time, was that the black and white pair were a part of a capsule collection. The ‘Surfman’ is the second shoe in the collection and is the perfect release to help us close out the summer.
Stüssy throws out the traditional canvas material Converse usually goes with on their Chuck 70. Instead they opt for a breathable hemp fabric in a vibrant pink hue that’s giving us all the summer vibes. Both the Surfman logo and the Converse branding on the tongue are solid black which really pops out against the pink. The traditional Converse logo is missing in action, but the outline of where the logo usually sits is still there (the logo is sewn onto the inside of the shoe). These special kicks also come packaged with black and white laces for you to personalize how you see fit.
