One thing about H-Town, they love their sports championships.
On the heels of a terrific 2023 Women’s NCAA Tournament, women’s basketball is at an all time high in popularity and visibility. The current popularity is only matched by the inaugural seasons of the WNBA, which began with the Houston Comets promptly establishing themselves as a dynasty by winning the first four league championships.
The classic team that included Hall of Famers Sheryl Swoopes, Tina Thompson, and Cynthia Cooper are set to be honored on the equally classic Air Force 1.
The Nike Air Force 1 “Four Peat” is dressed in white leather and Comets inspired colors. Navy coats the swoosh, heel tab, midsole accents, and outsole while red stitching outlines the Swoosh.

The Comets’ championship years are highlighted by red embroidered “‘97 ‘98” on the legt heel tab and “‘99 ‘00” on the right heel tab. The celebratory shoe is finished with a graphic of a hand holding up four fingers followed by “X” as a reminder of the 4-time champion team.
