We recently did a deep dive into the deets around the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1, and we’re here to update you with more on this beautiful MJ Monday. This pair is said to flow as a contender for A Ma Maniere’s other Air Jordan 3 as sneaker of the year. While it’s ever-present that these AMM collaborations don’t miss, we must give our flowers to founder James Whitner who has deep roots in each sneaker story. The AMM x AJ1 sneaker is an ode to celebration and is meant to amplify what it means when a collective voice takes form. This especially speaks to the Black community and understanding that the same unified front is a driving force in community building as a whole.

We love that the A Ma Maniere brand is very intentional in a design that speaks to their ethos of a classic, luxury, style foundation. The wine accents play against a cracked leather upper that include snakeskin accents. The aged appearance is timeless and the interior embraces our feet with quilted lining. WHEW.

IN STORE RAFFLE: Beginning today, consumers will be able to set an online appointment between 11.15 and 11.18 on either the A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB or Prosper websites for an in-store government ID and size entry confirmation check at their selected local store. This approach will continue to ensure local consumers from the communities served by the Whitaker Group retail banners are prioritized and given a fair opportunity to access the highly-coveted collaboration.
Following the raffle, the AJ1 will officially launch on 11/24 at 11am EST on amamaniere.com - pricing will be $200 USD and extended unisex sizing will be available.
