In celebration of the silhouette’s 40th anniversary, AMBUSH and Nike have joined forces once again, no pun intended. Since 2018, the two brands have been creating some of the industry’s most eye-catching collaborative sneaker and apparel collections. Yoon Ahn, creative director of the Tokyo-based brand, gave us a sneak peek of their latest collaboration via Instagram, posing with the sneakers outside of Nike's Headquarters. The AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Pine Green and Citron” will be the fourth colorway of this collection.
The “Pine Green and Citron” colorway boasts a simple two-tone look that packs a hard punch. This sneaker has an all leather build, with the laces, soles, and tongue matching the emerald green color of the rest of the shoe. The protruding Nike symbol, heel tabs, and ornamental shoe lace tag all come in a pale yellow color, tying the bold design together. The sneaker also boasts AMBUSH branding on the tongue, heel, and underside of the shoe.
AMBUSH and Nike also revealed another color way, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Game Royal and Vivid Sulfur.” This color way has the same two tone design as its sibling above, but instead utilizes a dark, royal blue color as a base for the sneaker. The laces, sole, and tongue also match the royal blue tone. The “Game Royal” takes after the “Pine Green” with the yellow details, but with this sneaker, the shade of yellow is a lot darker and brighter.
