One thing we know for sure: it’s always a pleasure to see good people win and it’s an even greater honor to support them while they do it. Bronx multihyphenate Jae Tips is one of those people and now, he’s officially bringing his fifth collaboration with Saucony to the masses and it’s right on time. With everything going on in the world, sometimes we all need a reminder about what’s important. With his latest collection, “I Love You, But I’m Busy”, Tips is all about reminding the masses that family really is over everything.
Comprised of colorful takes on the Grid Jazz 9 and Shadow 6000 silhouettes, Jae Tips continues to make bright colors and floral themes a central component to his designs. Both models come with stitched text reading “I Love You, But I’m Busy” over the heel, championing the overarching message of collection. Vibrant pops of yellow, blue, and orange appear on the upper of the Jazz 9, complemented by a hot pink midsole that transitions well into the quarter section.
The Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Jazz 9 ($150) and Shadow 6000 will pre-launch via saviorworldwide.com on March 28th, followed by a global launch on April 11th. The Jazz 9 has a US size run of 3.5-14, while the Shadow 6000 will be available exclusively in kids’ sizing.
If you’re looking to cop, the EQL raffle for the Jae Tips Saucony Grid Jazz 9 “I Love You But I’m Busy” via Savior Worldwide is now open and runs until 3/30. Retail is set at $150.
