Brand Alert: Karhu Is Catching Our Eye with the Fusion 2.0 and Aria 95

Feel like adding a little variety to your rotation? As much as we love the big 5, there’s something about independent sneaker brands that has kept this fun for us. While we’re kind of ashamed to say that Finnish footwear label Karhu is just now making its way onto our radar (they’ve been around since 1916, mind you), we’re happy they are because their Fusion 2.0 and Aria 95 silhouettes are definitely appealing to both the eye and our budget.
With a new Spring/Summer 2021 capsule, the euro staple puts the focus squarely on two of its most popular silhouettes. The latest release features the Aria 95 and Fusion 2.0 sneakers, each of which boasts a buttery suede construction and two different colorways. That’s four new shoes, BTW. We’re decent at math.
All four colorways in the pack take inspiration from the changing of seasons and the beauty that is early spring. With warm colors alongside more muted tones, the Aria 95 receives the “Vetiver/Tea Rose” and “Rainy Day/Bright White” treatments, while the Fusion 2.0 arrives in “Rainy Day/Desert Sage” or “Walnut/Bright White.”
