New Balance is coming in strong on our wish lists once again. The brand is not new to the footwear game, but we believe their strategic collaborations have pushed them to be the frontrunners (amongst a few others). Let’s just say they are getting it right with Salehe Bembury, Joe Freshgoods, and the Whitaker Group’s storytelling strengths. While our favorite New Balance collabs fly off the shelves, we have found some quality sleepers that we couldn’t pass up on.
The New Balance 2002RD sneaker features a muted colorway draped in Sandstone, alongside turtledove and gold metallic. If we’re keeping it all the way real, this could be a customizers dream pair (as we have seen some creative makeovers across the social streets). The mixed materials of nubuck leather and mesh sit atop ABZORB technology. The cutout rugged details add character and we loved the look in the variety of Protection Pack sneakers.
