Olivia Kim Teams Up With Nike ID For A Fresh Cortez
We continue to celebrate the Cortez Anniversary in style. The iconic shoe still makes waves to this day and is a staple piece amongst shoe collections. From the hot pink silhouette to the glitter pack, Nike has shown the OG sneaker some love this year.
That leads us to a new collaboration with Nike iD Olivia Kim, the VP of Creative Projects at Nordstrom. Originally named the "Senorita Cortez" for the ladies, Olivia wanted to reintroduce the sneaker using her personal styling. She does this by adding her own curated colors and materials within the Nike iD platform and allowing our creativity to mesh "runner and runway".
When creating, you can pick base colors including Midnight Navy, Summit White, and a Natural hue. As you select materials, you have the option of nylon or suede as a base and suede or leather on overlays and Swoosh. A special "OK" is branded on the tongue for this collab along with soft pink accents added to the midsole.
What do you think of this collection, and do you find it more appealing that you have options to create using the designer's styles? Prices start at $120 USD on Nike iD.
