We're always down for a DIY project and Vans has debuted a new collection just for us ladies. The Lady Vans Collection was created by a group of Vans designers across apparel and footwear who each made a page of a zine (magazine). The pages of the zine serves as the graphic design element througout the collection. The DIY comes in where pieces in the collection are encouraged to be customized and made your own!
The Lady Vans Collection features a ton of new apparel that includes the long sleeve raglan top which features an oversized zine graphic on the chest and a “cut here” graphic can be found on the inside of the shirt, showing how to customize, crop or turn the tee into a short sleeve. There's also a pullover designed to resemble a shirt-over-hoodie style of the ‘90s. One of favorites from the collection is the bold zine printed midi dress which can be cut, tied and customized using the interior “cut here” graphics and last but not lease is the Lady Vans Coverall with patches down the sleeve and embroidered logo at the chest. There are many more intems in the collection too such as long and short sleeve t-shirts, jackets and accessories.
Now let's get into the sneaks! The Lady Vans Collection includes both the Era and Sk8-Hi with the all-over zine print and Vans “Off The Wall” retro graphics. The Era comes in three graphic colorways including azalea pink, sharp green. There are two iterations of the Sk8-Hi including black and azalea pink which features a contrasting sharp green medial side and is outfitted with a yellow Sidestripe.
