The AJ1 silhouette is one you can’t help but love because there’s nothing like the classics. No matter how many iterations of this shoe is released, we just keep coming back for more. It’s even better when the ladies can get a super dope colorway to themselves, such as this one. This Varsity Red AJ1 is not shy on the details either and it’s the perfect fit for any collection whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been collecting for years.
Similar to the New Beginnings Pack, ‘Varsity Red’ overlays are the star of this show. The brightness of the Varsity Red really enhances the Light Iron Ore color of the tongue, collar, and sock lining. Crisp white graces the quarter, toe box and midsole making for a stark contrast. Red laces sit atop the gray corduroy textured tongue. But, what gives this classic a little added flair, is the Chenille textured Nike Swoosh which is reminiscent of the patches featured on a Letterman jacket. The WMNS Air Jordan 1 ‘Varsity Red’ will release via the SNKRS app on July 23rd at 9am CST. Women’s sizes will retail for $170 USD.
