Step into the Ring with PUMA x Cara Delevingne x Balmain

With many brands testing the luxury waters with premium collections (i.e. PUMA x Karl Lagerfeld), it’s not extremely surprising that the fearless Cara Delevingne led this new PUMA collaboration with Balmain. Did we see it coming? Possibly. However, it serves to continue the narrative of powerhouse people teaming up to tap into a whole new audience. Think of it as the intersection of sports/streetwear and high fashion. With Cara as one of PUMA’s brand ambassadors and closely tied to Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, it was a project in the making with the intent of pushing boundaries with grit + grace.

Balmain has a similar brave fierceness to their brand as Puma does and it really excited me to think of what we could all do together. I’m really proud of what this collaboration has resulted in.”
The PUMA x Balmain Collection is comprised of 30+ pieces which include footwear, apparel, and accessories. The pieces take from a boxing-inspired aesthetic which offer items like boxing shorts, track pants, and even gloves. With color palettes that speak to a luxe feel, elements of gold hit the collection along with vibrant reds/blues. The footwear consists of DEVA and CELL silhouettes that range from sneaker to boot. As far as pricing goes, the tags start as low as $45 USD for socks, and go as high as $650 USD for a bomber jacket.
