Nike's Move to Zero Collection
The Swoosh has made large strides towards important initiatives, and one being zero carbon and waste. Nike is carrying this mindset right into it’s next collection - Move to Zero. The capsule features Nike’s classic gear redesigned with recycled materials like polyester. Taking these products and utilizing a unique dyeing technology, the brand is able to achieve pattern efficiency that is upwards to 90%.
The Nike Move to Zero Collection has a variety of options ranging from classic pieces like the Windrunner Jacket (which features 100% recycled construction). Even smaller details such as the zipper and drawcord are created from Nike Grind, which is a special mixture of materials pulled from the recycling process.
As for more offerings, Move to Zero will release shirts, joggers, hoodies, and a dress to name a few. Each of those items will run at about 60% recycled materials on the sustainability chart. Talk about finding ways to make an impact through your retailer. It’s never too late to minimize that carbon footprint. Look for the Nike Move to Zero Collection when it drops this summer. More to come!
