Adidas Originals has partnered up with media platform, Girls Are Awesome for a fun “girl empowerment” inspired collection. Girls Are Awesome was founded in 2016 by two fathers who wanted to create more equal opportunities for their own daughters. The platforms main goal is to be more progressive by ensuring that young girls today have access to powerful female voices and positive role models. They achieve this through their content, products, events, and partnerships.
The capsule collection is designed to be unisex and it features bold new takes on Adidas silhouettes we’re already familiar with, like the Superstar and the Superstar Bold. Apparel includes a tie-dye tracksuit, pink and purple color-blocking dungarees with a matching track jacket, and Adidas t-shirts with Girls Are Awesome branding on the back.
