Kangol x H&M Tap Musician Mabel For Their Latest Collaboration
Streetwear throughout the years has evolved tremendously. However, the importance of individuality in the space has remained at the forefront. Looking at more recent apparel drops, inspiration has been taken from 90’s streetwear and reimagined for the attitude and uniqueness of today. Here, we dive deeper into a collection that is for the self-made generation of today and one that perfectly captures the fresh updates on streetwear style.
Kangol, a British streetwear brand recognized by their kangaroo logo and iconic bucket hats, has partnered with H&M and R&B Artist Mabel to bring us a 31-piece collection. The drop includes iconic Kangol pieces along with new iterations that they’re adding to their lineup. The fresh and authentic collection features items such as midi dresses, mock neck sweaters, and puffer coats and more casual pieces such as logo tees, hoodies, and sweatpants. Accessories are also present with patent leather tote bags, bucket hats, fleece fanny pack, puffer crossbody, and beanie options. Two pieces Mabel herself co-created, a ruched mini-dress with lime green detailing and a pair of logo-printed sweatpants, which embodies the different sides of her style. With an all over neutral color palette with pops of blue, green, and chartreuse, the pieces can be dressed up or down to create a variety of looks.
The Kangol x H&M x Mabel Collection is dropping on 9/17 in select H&M stores and via H&M’s online store. You can look through the pieces in the collection and get some behind the scenes insights via our SHOP THE COLLECTION button below and H&M’s Instagram.
