Nike Lauches BHM Collection By Celebrating Equality and Black Gold

Each year, Nike celebrates the rich history and heroes of the Black community with special Black History Month collections. Shoes, clothing and gear for men, women, and kids with bold details designed to highlight this special month are always on the Nike roster. For me, this is paramount. As a woman who identifies as African American, it's important for me personally and as the owner of this platform to support companies that encourage a celebration of my ancestry.

This February, Jordan Brand, Nike Basketball, and Nike Sportswear set the stage with new BHM features to the Air Jordan 1, LeBron 14, Kyrie 3 and KD9. Additional performance footwear includes Serena Williams’ Nike Flare, the Nike Lunar Epic and Jordan Trunner. An Air Force 1 Hi for men, AF1 Upstep for women and special-edition Air Jordan 1s for men and youth round out the footwear offering.

Told y'all we were magic.

Be on the lookout for the Air Jordan 1 BHM sneakers to arrive at retailers on February 11 retailing for $140 USD. The rest of the 2017 Nike BHM collection releases February 16 at Nike.com and select retailers in North America.
